Hear Chuck Berry’s New Track, “Excellent Woman,” Showcasing Gary Clark Jr.

“Excellent Woman,” a rocking new music by the late Chuck Berry, was posted to the guitar legend’s official Vevo page last night. It is really the 2nd music to be issued from Berry’s new album, Chuck, which is envisioned to be unveiled this summer season. You can hear the initially music, “Huge Boys,” proper below.

“Excellent Woman,” which you can hear beneath, options guitar function by Gary Clark Jr.—plus contributions from Berry’s son, Charles Jr., and grandson, Charles III.

“When [Berry’s] supervisor known as me up and questioned me to engage in on Chuck, I was truly honored,” Clark Jr. instructed Rolling Stone. “… He was actively playing extraordinary even now and singing incredible. I’m hunting forward to this document.”

Comprised of 10 new recordings, 8 of which were published by Berry, Chuck is his initially new album because 1979’s Rock It.

It was recorded and developed by Berry in many studios all over St. Louis and options his longtime hometown backing team, such as Ingrid Berry (vocals, harmonica), Jimmy Marsala (Berry’s bassist for 40 years), Robert Lohr (piano) and Keith Robinson (drums)—which supported him for nearly two many years on above 200 residency reveals at the famed Blueberry Hill club.
