Zakk Wylde At Guitar Center

  1. Earlier this year we sat down w/ Metallica’s James Hetfield. Hear how he
got his first “real” guitar and started playing in bands.

  2. You never know who might be playing in the next room at Guitar Center.
Watch Metallica’s James Hetfield discuss his inspiration.

  3. James is awesome! Best metal rhythm guitarist ever…

  4. Aceptalo Justin Bievergas nunca seras como James ni en sueños

  5. I wish James make a song with other drummer and lead guitarist. Lars and
Kirk ruining the fun when I listen to Metallica.

  6. One of the if not *the* most humble, kind and genuine heavy metal
    guitarist/frontmen in the world.

I don’t care what anyone says about Metallica or Hetfield. James is a stand
up guy and Metallica is one of the most influential, inspirational bands of
    all time. That’s a fact!

  8. This man is quite outspoken. I am surprised. I had always harbored a
prejudiced opinion that metal bands were made up of high school dropouts
who thought life was all fun and games. And perhaps my previous impression
may be true, but it certainly does not apply to James Hetfield. I was

  9. What kind of Guitar is James Hetfield playing in this video?

  10. I swear after they kicked Mustaine out and Cliff died, James was the last
major songwriter in the band. Newsted is a good songwriter too I guess but
he isn’t on the same level as Hetfield, Mustaine, or Burton. And Kirk and
Lars are essentially just accessories to the band. Can you imagine how much
of a mark Metallica would have left on music if Cliff didn’t die or Dave
wasn’t kicked out? I know Mustaine’s a douche and he would’ve broken up the
band eventually, but the music they would have put out before then would
have been second-to-none. Hetfield, Burton, and Mustaine would have been
the Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison of metal…and Lars would have been
Ringo XD. No that’s too harsh – Ringo actually seems like a really cool

  11. anyone know what he’s playing from 7:07 ?

  12. what I want to know,, is he playing that guitar straight thru one of those
amps? and his sound rack is not there? he has a very unique and
revolutionary sound… is he using the mesa the orange or the marshall? my
God I love this guy…. much more than the greatest rhythm guitarist to
ever live… i’d love to jam with him..even if he made me look stupid and

  13. Melody was started at 7:03, very cool. It must be in the next Metallica
album! I think it’s Unforgiven IV.

  14. video is a bit fucked flickers white at points

  15. Any one of you fags that don’t dig this just move on. His explanation of
what was going on at this point in his life is inspiring. Thanks Mr. H

  16. Cómo los grandes aman a la música..
Metallica’s James Hetfield At Guitar Center:

  17. This dude has been my hero for 24 years. What a life he’s led. And his fkn
music…. well, it speaks for itself.

  18. I wish James would narrate a book or a documentary or something.

  19. What’s that riff at 3:20 ? It’s awesome

  20. that guitar sounds awfull

  21. “The shy kid who couldn’t talk” Who’d have thought it?!

  22. Watch Kirk’s video here: Metallica’s Kirk Hammett At Guitar Center

  23. This guy is a riff machine and one of the most down to earth musicians to
ever walk the earth. Whether you like it or not, he is the face of one of
the biggest bands on the planet, the guy just loves guitar, truly something
    to admire.
