  1. Guthrie, dude you are awesome. And I mean, – not just your skills on that guitar bro, but your teaching and the whole package for realio. There ain't no one I enjoy much more listenin to play AND teach than yourself sir! Keep up the great work! You are a gem!

  2. Great pickin but the intro is nothing like the Merle version

  3. Nice Guth…..mo' fine

  4. jon i sense you don't use these vids that often cause that is usually the norm. it also drives me nuts!! as andy aledort told me there is no right or wrong way to play as long as you like the sound you get. jon, use the force jon

  5. NICE, REALLY LIKE THE OVERHEAD LOOK! EASIER TO PICK UP. WELL DONE GUTHRIE!  THANK YOU. PLEASE DO MORE!

  6. Great video ! I just subscribed. I am so glad to find someone teaching Merle's style and songs !. There is a song called" Wishing all these old things were new" I am sure you have heard. Would you consider doing an instructional video including the the lead ? The song itself is not that hard but the lead is cool. Thanks for a great video !!

  7. On the intro, it seems to me after the pull off from f to e on the 2nd string, you are hammering on the 3rd string from d to e …which I didn't see in the explanation. Is this happening?

  8. Nice solo mate! And really great lesson… got a lot out of that. Thanks so much!
